DISC: Book Buying & The Economy

It has been said that the buying trends for books are down due to the recession American readers are feeling. With that, many publishing houses (mainstream, small pub, independent, and electronic) are curving their submissions, as well as the amount of books they are producing yearly. What is your take on this situation? Have you become a part of the crew who depends heavily on your e-readers or the electronic versions of books or are you still a reader who has to have the book in their hand? **Submitted by Missy Brown
